If you don’t get back on thyroid medication all your hypothyroid symptoms will slowly return. If you have done well on Armour, then you should stay on it. You aren’t supposed to change thyroid meds unless the med you are on isn’t helping. Sounds like you were doing fine on the Armour. If I were you, I’d find a new doctor. Having hypothyroidism and on Armour myself, I would not give up the treatment. I feel so much better than I did before Armour. I would start a new doctor search immediately.
on www.about.com there’s a thyroid forum that lists doctors. Perhaps youcoul check that out. Remember to call any potential doctor offices and tell them you are hypothyroid and on Armour will the doctor continue the same protocol. It’s best to find out before you make an appt. good luck
